ആദ്യകാലജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
ലിഡിയ കനാൻ ജനിച്ചതും വളർന്നതും ലബനോനിലെ ബ്രുമ്മാനായിലാണ്. ലബനീസ് ആഭ്യന്തരയുദ്ധം നടക്കുന്ന കാലത്ത് ഒരു പ്രമുഖ ഗ്രീക്ക് ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് ക്രിസ്റ്റ്യൻ കുടുംബത്തിലാണ് അവർ ജനിച്ചത്. അവർ പഠനം നടത്തിയത് ബ്രുമ്മാന ഹൈസ്കൂളിലും (BHS) ഉപരിപഠനം ലബനീസ് അമേരിക്കൻ യൂണിവേർസിറ്റിയിലുമായിരുന്നു (LAU).
