പ്രമോദ് സാവന്ത് (ജനനം: 24 ഏപ്രിൽ 1973) ഗോവയുടെ പതിമൂന്നാമത് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയാണ്. ഗോവ നിയമസഭയിലെ സാങ്ക്വെലിം നിയോജകമണ്ഡലത്തെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്ന ഭാരതീയ ജനതാപാർട്ടി അംഗമാണ് അദ്ദേഹം.[1] ജോലി സംബന്ധമായി അദ്ദേഹം ഒരു ആയുർവേദ ചികിത്സകനാണ്.[2] മുൻ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി മനോഹർ പരിക്കറിൻറെ മരണശേഷം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായി സത്യപ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്യുന്നതിനുമുമ്പ് അദ്ദേഹം ഗോവ നിയമസഭ സ്പീക്കർ ആയി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നു.
ജീവിതരേഖ[തിരുത്തുക]
1973 ഏപ്രിൽ 24 ന് പാണ്ഡുരംഗ്, പത്മിനി സാവന്ത് എന്നിവരുടെ പുത്രനായി പ്രമോദ് സാവന്ത് ജനിച്ചു.[3][4] കോലാപൂരിലെ ഗംഗ എജ്യൂക്കേഷൻ സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെ ആയുർവേദ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ നിന്ന് ആയുർവേദ മെഡിസിൻ ആന്റ് സർജറിയിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി. പുണെയിലെ തിലക് മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് സാമൂഹ്യപ്രവർത്തനത്തിൽ ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദവും നേടിയിരുന്നു.[5] ബിച്ചോലിമിലെ ശ്രീ ശാന്തദുർഗ്ഗ ഹയർ സെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂളിലെ രസതന്ത്രം അധ്യാപികയാ പ്രമോദ് സാവന്തിന്റെ പത്നി സുലക്ഷണ.[6][7] ഒരു ഭാരതീയ ജനതാ പാർട്ടിയുടെ നേതാവുകൂടിയായ സുലക്ഷണ ബിജെപി മഹിള മോർച്ചയുടെ ഗോവ യൂണിറ്റ് പ്രസിഡന്റുകൂടിയാണ്.[8][9][10]
