ദേശീയ ഗണിതദിനം (ഇന്ത്യ)
ഇന്ത്യൻ സർക്കാർ ഡിസംബർ 22 ദേശീയ ഗണിതദിനമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യൻ ഗണിതശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞൻ ശ്രീനിവാസ രാമാനുജന്റെ 125-ാം വാർഷികം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നതിനായി 2012 ഫെബ്രുവരി 26 ന് മദ്രാസ് സർവകലാശാലയിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മൻ‌മോഹൻ സിംഗാണ് ഇത് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. 2012 ദേശീയ ഗണിത വർഷമായി ആഘോഷിക്കുമെന്നും ഈ അവസരത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. അതിനുശേഷം, ഡിസംബർ 22 ന് എല്ലാ വർഷവും ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ദേശീയ ഗണിതദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ദിവസം, രാജ്യത്തുടനീളം സ്കൂളുകളിലും സർവകലാശാലകളിലും നിരവധി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ പരിപാടികൾ നടക്കുന്നു. 2017 ൽ ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശിലെ ചിറ്റൂരിൽ കുപ്പത്തിൽ രാമാനുജൻ മാത്ത് പാർക്ക് തുറന്നതിലൂടെ ദിവസത്തിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു.
