ഡേവിഗ് എലിസബത്ത് ചേസ് (/dəˈveɪ/ də-VAY;[1] ജനനം: 1990 ജൂലൈ 24) ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ അഭിനേത്രി, ഗായിക, ഡബ്ബിംഗ് നടി, മോഡൽ എന്നീ നിലകളിൽ പ്രശസ്തയാണ്. റിച്ചാർഡ് കെല്ലിയുടെ 'ഡോണീ ഡാർക്കോ' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ സാമന്താ ഡാർക്കോ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രമായി ആയി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്നതിനുമുമ്പ് മുൻപ് ടെലിവിഷൻ പരിപാടികളിലെ ചെറു വേഷങ്ങളിലൂടെയാണ് അവർ അഭിനയരംഗത്തു ചുവടുറപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
പിന്നീട് സ്റ്റുഡിയോ ഘിൽബിയുടെ ജപ്പാനീസ് ആനിമേറ്റഡ് ഫാൻറസി ചിത്രമായ സ്പൈറേറ്റഡ് ഏവേയുടെ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് മൊഴിമാറ്റ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ചിഹിരോ ഒഗിനോ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിനും ഡിസ്നിയുടെ ആനിമേറ്റഡ് ചിത്രമായ ലിലോ & സ്റ്റിച്ചിലും തുടർന്ന് അതിൻറെ വ്യാപാരാവകാശമുള്ള തുടർ ചിത്രത്തിലും ലിലോ പെലെകായ് എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിനും ശബ്ദം നൽകിയിരുന്നു. ഇതേത്തുടർന്ന് 2002 ൽ "ദ റിംഗ്" എന്ന ഹൊറർ ചിത്രത്തിൽ സമാറാ മോർഗൻ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിനു ജീവൻ നൽകി.
ആദ്യകാലജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
നെവാഡയിലെ ലാസ് വെഗാസിൽ ഡേവിഗ് എലിസബത്ത് ചേസ്-ച്വാവെല്ലിയർ എന്ന പേരിൽ ജനിച്ചു.[2] മാതാപിതാക്കളായ കാത്തി ചേസ്, ജോൺ ച്വാവെല്ലിയർ എന്നിവർ വേർപിരിഞ്ഞതിനുശേഷം അവർ തൻറെ പേര് ഡേവിഗ് എലിസബത്ത് ചേസ് എന്നാക്കി മാറ്റി.[3] ഓറിഗോണിലെ അൽബാനിയിലാണ് ചേസ് വളർന്നത്.[4]
