ആർതർ ആഡംസ്
ആർതർ ആഡംസ് (1820 ഗോസ്പൊർട്) ഇംഗ്ലിഷുകാരനായ ഫിസിഷ്യനും പ്രകൃതിശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനും ആയിരുന്നു.
1843 മുതൽ 1846 വരെ അദ്ദേഹം എച്ച് എം എസ് സമരങ്ങ് എന്ന കപ്പലിലെ ഉപ സർജൻ ആയിരുന്നു. ഈസ്റ്റേൺ ആർക്കിപെലാഗോ ദ്വീപുകളിൽ പര്യവേക്ഷണം നടത്തുന്ന കപ്പലായിരുന്നു ഇത്. [1]അദ്ദേഹം Zoology of the voyage of H.M.S. Samarang (1850) എന്ന പുസ്തകം എഡിറ്റു ചെയ്തു. അദ്ദേഹവും സഹോദരനായ ഹെൻറി ആഡംസും ചേർന്ന് The genera of recent mollusca: arranged according to their organization (three volumes, 1858) എന്ന പുസ്തകം എഴുതി. Travels of a naturalist in Japan and Manchuria (1870) അദ്ദേഹം എഴുതിയ മറ്റൊരു പുസ്തകമാണ്.
