റഹ്മതൗ കീറ്റ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്‌ത 2016-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ നൈജീരിയൻ നാടക ചിത്രമാണ് ദി വെഡിംഗ് റിംഗ് (സിൻനാരിയ!). 91-ാമത് അക്കാദമി അവാർഡിൽ മികച്ച വിദേശ ഭാഷാ ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള നൈജീരിയൻ എൻട്രിയായി ഇത് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. പക്ഷേ അത് നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടില്ല.[2] വിദേശ ഭാഷാ ഓസ്കാർ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ നൈജർ സമർപ്പിച്ച ആദ്യ ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു ഇത്.[3][4]
