ലിയോനാർഡോ ബ്രൂണി
ലിയോനാർഡോ ബ്രൂണി (അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ലിയോനാർഡോ അരീറ്റിനോ, സി .1370 - മാർച്ച് 9, 1444) ഒരു ഇറ്റാലിയൻ മനുഷ്യസ്നേഹി, ചരിത്രകാരൻ, രാഷ്ട്രതന്ത്രജ്ഞൻ എന്നിവ ആയിരുന്നു. നവോത്ഥാനകാലത്തെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട മാനവിക ചരിത്രകാരനും ആയിരുന്നു.[1]ആദ്യ ആധുനിക ചരിത്രകാരൻ എന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.[2]പുരാതനകാലം, മധ്യകാലഘട്ടം, ആധുനിക കാലഘട്ടങ്ങൾ, എന്നീ ചരിത്രത്തിന്റെ മൂന്നു കാലഘട്ട വീക്ഷണങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് എഴുതിയ ഏറ്റവും ആദ്യത്തെ വ്യക്തിയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. ബ്രൂണി കാലഘട്ടത്തെ നിർവ്വചിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന തീയതി കൃത്യമല്ല. ഇന്നത്തെ ആധുനികകാല ചരിത്രകാരന്മാർ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതും എന്നാൽ ചരിത്രത്തിന്റെ ട്രിപാർടൈറ്റ് വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ ആശയപരവും അടിസ്ഥാനപരവുമായ അടിത്തറയിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നത്.
