റോസന്ന ലിസ അർക്വെറ്റെ (ജനനം: 1959 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 10) ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ നടിയും, സംവിധായികയും നിർമ്മാതാവുമാണ്. 1982 ൽ “ദ എക്സിക്യൂഷനേർസ് സോങ്ങ്” എന്ന ടി.വി. ഫിലിമിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് അവർക്ക് ഒരു എമ്മി അവാർഡ് നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ലഭിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. 1985 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ “ഡെസ്പറേറ്റ്ലി സീക്കിംഗ് സൂസൻ” എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് മികച്ച സഹനടിക്കുള്ള BAFTA അവാർഡ് നേടുകയുണ്ടായി. അവരുടെ മറ്റു പ്രധാന ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ “ആഫ്റ്റർ അവേർസ്” (1985), “ദ ബിഗ് ബ്ലൂ” (1988), “പൾപ്പ് ഫിക്ഷൻ” (1994), “ക്രാഷ്” (1996) എന്നിവയാണ്. 2002 ൽ “സേർച്ചിംഗ് ഫോർ ഡോബ്ര വിഞ്ചർ” എന്ന ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുകയും 2006 മുതൽ 2007 വരെ എബിസി സിറ്റ്കോമിൻറെ “വാട്ട് എബൌട്ട് ബ്രയാൻ?” എന്ന അമേരിക്കൻ കോമഡി-ഡ്രാമ ടെലിവിഷൻ പരമ്പരയിൽ അഭിനയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

ഒരു നടി, കവയിത്രി, തീയേറ്റർ ഓപ്പറേറ്റർ, ആക്റ്റിവിസ്റ്റ്, പൊതുപ്രവർത്തക, നാടക അദ്ധ്യാപിക, തെറാപ്പിസ്റ്റ് എന്നീ നിലകളിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധയായിരുന്ന ബ്രെൻഡ ഒലിവിയ “മാർഡി”യുടേയും (ആദ്യകാലനാമം, നോവാക്, ജീവിതകാലം, 1939 – 1997) ചലച്ചിത്രനടനും തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തും നിർമ്മാതാവുമായ ലെവിസ് അർക്വെറ്റെയുടേയും മകളായി ന്യൂയോർക്ക് നഗരത്തിലാണ് അവർ ജനിച്ചത്.[1] അമ്മവഴിയുള്ള മുത്തച്ഛൻ പ്രശസ്ത കോമഡിയനായിരുന്ന ക്ലിഫ് അർക്വെറ്റെ ആയിരുന്നു. പോളണ്ട്, റഷ്യ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു കുടിയേറ്റം നടത്തിയ ഒരു യഹൂദ കുടുംബത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ളതായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ മാതാവ്.[2][3][4] ഫ്രഞ്ച്-കനേഡിയൻ പിന്തുടർച്ചയുള്ള പിതാവിൻറെ യഥാർത്ഥ കുടുംബപ്പേര് "Arcouet" എന്നായിരുന്നു.[5] റോസന്നയുടെ പിതാവ് കത്തോലിക്കാ മതത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഇസ്ലാമിലേക്ക് പരിവർത്തിതനായ വ്യക്തിയായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം വഴി അവർ മെരിവെതർ ലെവിസ് എന്ന പര്യവേക്ഷകനുമായി വിദൂരബന്ധമുള്ളയാളായിരുന്നു.[6][7][8] അവരുടെ സഹോദരങ്ങളായ, പട്രീഷ്യ, അലക്സിസ്, റിച്ച്മണ്ട്, ഡേവിഡ് എന്നിവരും അഭിനേതാക്കളാണ്.
