ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രം
ജ്വാലാമുഖി പട്ടണം നിലനില്ക്കുന്ന അക്ഷാംശ രേഖാംശങ്ങൾ 31°53′N 76°19′E / 31.88°N 76.32°E [1] ആണ്. പട്ടണം നിൽക്കുന്ന പ്രദേശത്തിൻറെ ശരാശരി ഉയരം 610 മീറ്ററാണ് (2,001 അടി).
ജനസംഖ്യ
2001- ലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ സെൻസസ് അനുസരിച്ച് ജ്വാലാമുഖി പട്ടണത്തിലെ ആകെ ജനസംഖ്യ[2] 4931 ആണ്. ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ 52 ശതമാനം പേർ പുരുഷന്മാരും 48 ശതമാനം പേർ സ്ത്രീകളുമാണ്.

ജ്വാലാമുഖി പട്ടണത്തിലെ ജ്വാലാമുഖി ദേവിയുടെ ക്ഷേത്രം പ്രസിദ്ധമാണ്. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ സ്വർണ്ണ താഴികക്കുടം നൽകിയത് മുഗൾരാജാവ് ആയ അക്ബർ ആണ്.
