സാറാ ബ്രൻഹാം മാത്യൂസ് (1888–1962) അമേരിക്കക്കാരിയായ സൂക്ഷ്മജീവിശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞയും ശരീരശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞയും ആയിരുന്നു. ഒരുതരം മെനിഞ്ചൈറ്റിസിനുള്ള ചികിത്സ കണ്ടെത്തി. Neisseria meningitidis എന്ന മെനിഞ്ചസിനു കാരണമായ ജീവിയെ അവർ പഠിച്ചു.
