അറബി, പേർഷ്യൻ, ഉർദു എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഏഷ്യയിലേയും ആഫ്രിക്കയിലേയും അനേകം ഭാഷകൾ എഴുതുന്നതിനുപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ലിപിയാണ്‌ അറബി അക്ഷരമാല (അറബി: أبجدية عربية‎). ലോകവ്യാപകമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ലിപികളിൽ ലത്തീൻ അക്ഷരമാലക്കു പിന്നിൽ രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനമാണ്‌ അറബി ലിപിക്കുള്ളത്[1].

28 അക്ഷരങ്ങളാണ് അറബിയിലുള്ളത്. അ ഇ ഉ അ്‌ എന്നീ നാല് വർണ്ണങ്ങളാണ് അറബി ഭാഷയിൽ ഉള്ളത്. അകാരം - ഫതഹ്‌, ഇകാരം - കസറ, ഉകാരം - ദ്വമ്മ, അ്‌കാരം- സുകൂൻ എന്നിവയാണിത്‌. മറ്റ് ഭാഷകളിലെന്ന പോലെ അറബിയിലും അതിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യം വലുതാണ്‌.
