IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) യും NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) - ഉം കൂടി വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുത്ത ഈ മാർഗ്ഗം ഉടമസ്ഥാവകാശമില്ലാത്തരീതിയിലായിരുന്നു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.
