എലിസബത്ത് ഗെർട്രൂഡ് ബ്രിറ്റൻ (January 9, 1858 – February 25, 1934) അമേരിക്കയിലെ സസ്യശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞയും ബ്രയോളജിസ്റ്റും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസപ്രവർത്തകയും ആയിരുന്നു. എലിസബത്ത് ഗെർട്രൂഡ് ബ്രിറ്റൻഉം അവരുടെ ഭർത്താവായ നതാനിയേൽ ലോർഡ് ബ്രിറ്റനും ചേർന്നാണ് ന്യൂ യോർക്ക് ബോട്ടാണിക്കൽ ഗാർഡനുവേണ്ട ഫണ്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയത്. അമേരിക്കൻ ബയോളജിക്കൽ ആന്റ് ലൈക്കനോളജിക്കൽ സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെ മുൻ സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ ഉപസ്ഥാപകയും ആയിരുന്നു. അവർ വന്യപുഷ്പങ്ങളെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. ഇതിനുവേണ്ടി പ്രാദേശികസർക്കരുകളേയും മറ്റു അധികാരസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളേയും സ്വാധീനിച്ചു. മോസുകളെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള 170ൽപ്പരം പേപ്പറുകൾ അവർ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
