അഞ്ചീ മിൻ (Anchee Min) or മിൻ അൻക്വി (ചൈനീസ്: 閔安琪; pinyinMǐn Ānqí; ജനനം: ജനുവരി 14, 1957 ഷാങ്ഹായി, ചൈന) സാൻ ഫ്രാൻസിസ്കോയിലും ഹാങ്ഹായിയിലുമായി ജീവിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ചൈനിസ്‍-അമേരിക്കൻ എഴുത്തുകാരിയാണ്. “Red Azalea”, “The Cooked Seed: A Memoir” എന്നിങ്ങനെ രണ്ട് ഓർമ്മക്കുറിപ്പുകൾ, 6 ചരിത്ര നോവലുകൾ എന്നിവ അഞ്ചീ മിൻറേതായി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. അവരുടെ ഫിക്ഷൻ രചനകളിൽ ചെയർമാൻ മാവോ സേതൂങ്ങിൻറെ പത്നിയായ ജിയാങ്ങ് ക്വിങ്ങ്  ചൈനയിലെ അവസാനത്തെ ചക്രവർത്തിനിയായിരുന്ന ഡൊവാഗെർ സിക്സി എന്നിവരെപ്പോലെയുള്ള ശക്തമായ സ്ത്രീകഥാപാത്രങ്ങളുടെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യമുണ്ട്

ജീവിതരേഖ[തിരുത്തുക]

1957 ജനുവരി4 ന് ഷാങ്ങ്ഘായിയിലാണ് മിൻ ജനിച്ചത്. മാതാപിതാക്കൾ അദ്ധാപകരായിരുന്നു.[1]  സാംസ്കാരിക വിപ്ലവം തുടങ്ങിയ കാലത്ത് അവർക്ക് ഒൻപതു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു പ്രായം.[2]  ഒരു കുട്ടിയെന്ന നിലയിൽ, ലിറ്റിൽ റെഡ് ഗാർഡിൽ അംഗമായിരുന്ന അവർ മാവോയിസ്റ്റ് വിരുദ്ധനായിരുന്ന തൻറെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട അധ്യാപകനെക്കുറിച്ച് അധികാരികൾക്കു റിപ്പോർട്ടുണ്ടാക്കി സമർപ്പിക്കുവാൻ ചുമതലപ്പെടുത്തപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.[3]അവർക്ക് 17 വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ളപ്പോൾ കിഴക്കൻ ചൈന കടലിന് അടുത്തുള്ള ഒരു കൂട്ടു കൃഷിസ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് അവർ അയയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ടു.[4] അവിടെ അവർക്ക് വളരെ ഭീതിജനകമായ അവസ്ഥകളെ നേരിടേണ്ടിവന്നിരുന്നു. ദിവസം 18 മണിക്കൂർ വരെ ജോലിയെടുക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.[5]  താമസിയാതെ നട്ടെല്ലിനു തകരാർ സംഭവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[6]കൂട്ടു കൃഷിയിടത്തിൽ വച്ച് ഷാങ്ങ്ഹായ് ഫിലിം സ്റ്റുഡിയോയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള  ഒരു സംഘം അവരുടെ കഴിവുകൾ കണ്ടെത്തുകയും ഒരു നടിയായി മാഡം മാവോയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഒരു പ്രചരണ ചിത്രത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നതിനു തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.[7][8]  എന്നാൽ​ ഈ ചിത്രം പൂർത്തിയായില്ല.[9]  മാവോ സേതൂങിൻറെ മരണത്തിനും ജിയാങ് ക്വിങ്ങിൻറെ[10]  പതനത്തിനും ശേഷം, അവർ മുഖ്യധാരയിൽനിന്നു ബഹിഷ്കരിക്കപ്പെടുകയും മോശം പെരുമാറ്റങ്ങളെ നേരിടേണ്ടിവരുകയും ചെയ്തു. വിഷാദത്തിനടിമപ്പെട്ട അവർ ആത്മഹത്യയെക്കുറിച്ചു ചിന്തിച്ചിരുന്നു.[11]  ഇതിനിടെ അവരുടെ അമേരിക്കൻ സുഹൃത്തും നടിയുമായ ജോൻ ചെന്നിൻറെയും സിങ്കപ്പൂരിലുള്ള അവരുടെ അമ്മായിയുടെ സ്പോൺസർഷിപ്പ് സഹായത്തോടെയും മിൻ ഒരു പാസ്പോർട്ട് സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുകയും ഷിക്കാഗോ സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് ആർട്ട് ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശനത്തിന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[12]പിന്നീട് അവർ അമേരിക്കയിലേയ്ക്കു കുടിയേറി. അമേരിക്കയിലേക്ക് കുടിയേറിയതിനുശേഷം, മിൻ ഒരേ സമയം അഞ്ചു ജോലികൾവരെ ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.[13][14]  Sesame Street എന്ന കുട്ടികളുടെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ പരമ്പര സ്ഥിരമായി കാണുകയും ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പഠിക്കാനാരംഭിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[15][16]ഷിക്കാഗോ സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് ആർട്ട് ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് ഫൈൻ ആർട്സിൽ B.F.A., M.F.A ബിരുദങ്ങൾ നേടി.[17]അവർ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് Lloyd Lofthouse എന്ന എഴുത്തുകാരനെയാണ്.[18]  മകൾ ലൌറിയാൻ ജിയാങ്ങ സ്റ്റാൻഫോർഡ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ പഠനം നടത്തുന്നു.[19]
