ട്ഷിവെന്ദ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ലുവെന്ദ എന്നൊക്കെ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ബാൺടു ഭാഷയാണ് വെന്ദ. ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കയിലെ ഔദ്യോഗികഭാഷകളിലൊന്നാണിത്. ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കയുടെ വടക്കുഭാഗത്തെ ലിംപോപ്പോ പ്രവിശ്യയിലെ വെന്ദ ജനത സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഭാഷയാണ്. സിംബാബ്‌വേയിലെ ലെംബാ ജനതയും ഈ ഭാഷ സംസാരിച്ചുവരുന്നു. വെന്ദ ഭാഷ ബോട്സ്വാന, സിംബാബ്‌വേ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ കലങ്ങ ഭാഷയുമായി ബന്ധമുള്ള ഭാഷയാണ്. വർണ്ണവിവേചനകാലത്ത് ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കയിലെ വെന്ദാ ജനതയും കറുത്തവംശജർക്കായി ആഫ്രിക്കൻ സർക്കാർ തിരിച്ച ബാണ്ടുസ്താൻ പ്രവിശ്യകളിൽ പെട്ടുപോയിരുന്നു.
