ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് COVID-19 വാക്സിനുകൾ നൽകാൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ സർക്കാർ ഏറ്റെടുത്ത സംരംഭമാണ് വാക്സിൻ മൈത്രി (ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്: വാക്സിൻ ഫ്രണ്ട്ഷിപ്പ്) [1] 2021 ജനുവരി 20 മുതൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ സർക്കാർ വാക്സിനുകൾ നൽകാൻ തുടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. 2021 ഏപ്രിൽ 9 ലെ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യ 85 രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് 64.5 ദശലക്ഷം ഡോസ് വാക്സിനുകൾ നൽകി. [2] ഇതിൽ 10.5 ദശലക്ഷം ഡോസുകൾ 45 രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇന്ത്യൻ സർക്കാർ സമ്മാനിച്ചു. ബാക്കി 54 ദശലക്ഷം വാണിജ്യ കോവാക്സ് കരാർ പ്രകാരം സെറം ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.

COVID-19, വിന്ററൈസേഷൻ, ഭക്ഷ്യ അരക്ഷിതാവസ്ഥ എന്നിവയാൽ സങ്കീർണ്ണമായ ഒരു അവസ്ഥ സിറിയ നേരിടുന്നതിനാൽ സിറിയയിലെ മനുഷ്യാവകാശ സാഹചര്യം സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര പൊതുസഭയിലെ ഉന്നതതല പാനലിൽ സംസാരിക്കവേ വാക്സിൻ മൈത്രി നയത്തിലൂടെ സിറിയയ്ക്ക് പ്രതിരോധ കുത്തിവയ്പ് നൽകാൻ ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്രസഭയെ സഹായിക്കുമെന്ന് ഇന്ത്യ പ്രതിജ്ഞയെടുത്തു. എല്ലാ സമാധാന പരിപാലന ദൗത്യങ്ങൾക്കും വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി മാർച്ച് 27 ന് യുഎൻ സമാധാന സേനാംഗങ്ങൾക്ക് 200,000 ഡോസ് കോവിഡ് -19 വാക്സിനുകൾ ഇന്ത്യ സമ്മാനിച്ചു. [4]

വാക്സിനുകൾ[തിരുത്തുക]

ഇന്ത്യക്ക് രണ്ട് അംഗീകൃത COVID-19 വാക്സിനുകൾ ഉണ്ട്: കോവിഷീൽഡ്, കോവാക്സിൻ. രണ്ട് വാക്സിനുകളും ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇന്ത്യാ സർക്കാർ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.

കോവാക്സിൻ[തിരുത്തുക]

ഇന്ത്യൻ കൗൺസിൽ ഓഫ് മെഡിക്കൽ റിസർച്ചും നാഷണൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് വൈറോളജിയുമായി ചേർന്ന് ഭാരത് ബയോടെക് വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുത്ത ആദ്യത്തെ ഇന്ത്യൻ വാക്സിൻ ബിബിവി 152 (കോവാക്സിൻ എന്ന് വിപണനം ചെയ്യുന്നു) അതിന്റെ അടിയന്തിരാവശ്യം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വ്യവസ്ഥയോടു കൂടിയുള്ള ഉപയോഗത്തിന് ഡ്രഗ് കൺട്രോളർ ജനറൽ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്ന് അനുമതി നേടി.[5]എന്നിരുന്നാലും, വാക്സിൻ ഘട്ടം -3 പരീക്ഷണങ്ങൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയിട്ടില്ലാത്തതിനാൽ ഈ അംഗീകാരത്തിന് ആശങ്കയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.[6]കോവാക്സിൻ ഇടക്കാല ഫലങ്ങൾ 81% ഫലപ്രാപ്തി കാണിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് 2021 മാർച്ച് 3 ന് ഭാരത് ബയോടെക് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ 25,800 ആളുകളിൽ ക്ഷമതാ പരിശോധന നടത്തി. കോവിഷീൽഡ്[തിരുത്തുക]

2021 ജനുവരി 1-ന്, ഡ്രഗ് കൺട്രോളർ ജനറൽ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ, ഓക്സ്ഫോർഡ്-അസ്ട്രാസെനെക കോവിഡ് -19 വാക്സിൻ (കോവിഷീൽഡ് ആയി വിപണനം ചെയ്യുന്നു) അടിയന്തിരാവശ്യം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വ്യവസ്ഥയോടു കൂടിയുള്ള ഉപയോഗത്തിന് അംഗീകാരം നൽകി.[8]കോവിഷീൽഡ് വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുത്തത് ഓക്സ്ഫോർഡ് സർവകലാശാലയും അതിന്റെ സ്പിൻഔട്ട് കമ്പനിയായ വാക്സിടെക്കും ആണ്.[9]ചിമ്പാൻസികളിൽ ജലദോഷത്തിന് കാരണമാകുന്ന റെപ്ലിക്കേഷൻ-ഡെഫിഷ്യന്റ് അഡെനോവൈറസിനെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയുള്ള ഒരു വൈറൽ വെക്റ്റർ വാക്സിനാണിത്. ഇത് സാധാരണ ശീതീകരിച്ച അവസ്ഥയിൽ (രണ്ട്-എട്ട് ഡിഗ്രി സെൽഷ്യസ് / 36-46 ഡിഗ്രി ഫാരൻഹീറ്റ്) സംഭരിക്കാനും കൊണ്ടുപോകാനും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യാനും കഴിയും. ഇതിന് കുറഞ്ഞത് ആറുമാസത്തെ സംഭരണ കാലാവധി ഉണ്ട്.

വാക്സിൻ വിതരണം[തിരുത്തുക]

സ്വന്തമായി വാക്സിനേഷൻ പ്രോഗ്രാം ആരംഭിച്ച് നാല് ദിവസത്തിന് ശേഷം 2021 ജനുവരി 20 ന് ഇന്ത്യ വാക്സിനുകൾ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര കയറ്റുമതി ആരംഭിച്ചു.[10]ഭൂട്ടാനും മാലിദ്വീപും ആയിരുന്നു ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്ന് ഗ്രാന്റായി ആദ്യമായി വാക്സിനുകൾ സ്വീകരിച്ച രാജ്യങ്ങൾ. തൊട്ടുപിന്നാലെ നേപ്പാൾ, ബംഗ്ലാദേശ്, മ്യാൻമർ, സീഷെൽസ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലേക്ക് കയറ്റുമതി ചെയ്തു.[10]2021 മാർച്ച് 15 ലെ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യ ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള 37 രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് എട്ട് ദശലക്ഷത്തിലധികം ഡോസുകൾ സംഭാവന ചെയ്തു.[11]കാനഡ, [12] യുകെ, [13] സൗദി അറേബ്യ, [14] തുടങ്ങിയ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഇന്ത്യ വാണിജ്യ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ വാക്സിനുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ചെലവ് കുറഞ്ഞ COVID-19 വാക്സിനുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് കോവക്സ് സംരംഭത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന വിതരണക്കാരിൽ ഒരാളായി സെറം ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു[15] കോവക്സ് സംരംഭത്തിലൂടെ നിരവധി ദശലക്ഷം ഡോസുകൾ അസ്ട്രാസെനെക്കയുടെ COVID-19 വാക്സിൻ AZD1222 ഇന്ത്യ വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.[11]

വാക്സിൻസ് എക്സ്പോർട്ട്[തിരുത്തുക]

2021 മാർച്ച് 29 ലെ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യ 58 ദശലക്ഷം ഡോസ് കോവിഡ് -19 വാക്സിനുകൾ 65 ലധികം രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്ക് കയറ്റുമതി ചെയ്തു.[16]
