റോസ ആർവൻസിസ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഫീൽഡ് റോസ് യൂറോപ്പിലുടനീളം വ്യാപകമായി കാണപ്പെടുന്ന റോസിലെ ഒരു സ്പീഷീസ് ആണ്. 1762-ൽ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് സസ്യശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനായ വില്യം ഹഡ്സൺ ആണ് ഈ സസ്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ആദ്യമായി വിവരണം നൽകിയത്.

ഈ സസ്യം ഫീൽഡ് റോസ് [1] എന്നും വൈറ്റ് ഫ്ലവേർഡ് ട്രെയിലിങ് റോസ്[2] എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. കൂടാതെ "ഷേക്സ്പിയറുടെ കസ്തൂരി" എന്നും വിളിക്കുന്നു.[3]
