പ്രമുഖ ലബനീസ് -ഫലസ്തീനിയൻ കവയിത്രിയും വിവർത്തകയുമായിരുന്നു മെയ് സിയാദെ (English: May Ziade (née Marie, with Ziade also written Ziadé, Ziyada or Ziadeh) (അറബി: مي زيادة).(February 11, 1886[1][2] – 1941)[3] അറബി ദിനപത്രങ്ങളിലും സമകാലികങ്ങളും എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.നിരവധി കവിതകളും പുസ്തകങ്ങളും എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആദ്യകാല ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റുകളിൽ ഒരാളായാണ് ഇവർ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്..[2][4][5]

1886 ഫെബ്രുവരി 11ന് ലബനീസ് പിതാവിനും ഫലസ്തീനി മാതാവിനുമായി ഇസ്രയേലിലെ നസ്രെത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചു. പിതാവ് ഇല്യാസ് സിയാദെ അൽ മഹ്‌റൂസ എന്ന പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്റെ പത്രാധിപരായിരുന്നു.
