മേരി ആൻ ബ്രൗൺ
മേരി ആൻ ബ്രൗൺ (ശ്രീമതി. ജെയിംസ് ഗ്രേ എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു; 1812 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 24 - 1845 ജനുവരി 28) ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് കവിയിത്രിയും എഴുത്തുകാരിയുമായിരുന്നു.

മേരി ആൻ (ചിലപ്പോൾ മേരി-ആനി) ബ്രൌൺ 1812 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 24-ന് ബെർക് ഷെയറിലെ മെയിഡൻഹെഡിൽ ജനിച്ചു. [1] മൂന്നു മക്കളിൽ മൂത്തതായിരുന്നു.ചില സ്രോതസ്സുകൾ ഫെലിസിയ ഹെർമൻസ് സഹോദരിയാണെന്നുപറയുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അതു ശരിയല്ല. [2][3]
പതിനഞ്ചു വയസ്സു മാത്രമുള്ളപ്പോൾ അവളുടെ വാക്യങ്ങളുടെ സമാഹാരം പൊതുജനത്തിനു മുന്നിൽ വന്നു. മോൺട് ബ്ലാൻക് , അഡ , ബേപ്പന്റൻസ് , ദ കൊറോണൽ , ദ ബർത്ത്ഡേ ഗിഫ്റ്റ് , ഇഗ്നേഷ്യസ് , സേക്രഡ് കവിത എന്നിവയും പീരിയേലുകളിൽ ധാരാളം ആനുകാലികങ്ങളിൽ ഫ്യൂജിറ്റീവ് .ഭാഗങ്ങളും ബ്രൌൺ എഴുതി.[4]
1840 -ൽ അവരുടെ കുടുംബം ലിവർപൂളിലേക്ക് മാറുകയും. 1842- ൽ, ജയിംസ് ഹോഗിൻറെ മരുമകനുമായിരുന്ന സ്കോട്ട്മാനായ ജയിംസ് ഗ്രേയേ അവർ വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു. അവരുടെ പക്വമായ സ്വഭാവം ഭക്തിയും ദാനവും പ്രകടമായിരുന്നു. ചുറ്റുപാടും അലസമായി ഉപയോഗശൂന്യമായ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ കാണപ്പെട്ടു.
