ആർച്ച് ലിനക്സ് ഓപ്പറേറ്റിംഗ് സിസ്റ്റം അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി നിർമിച്ച ഒരു ഓപ്പൺ സോഴ്സ് ലിനക്സ് വിതരണം ആണ് മഞ്ചാരോ. ഉപയോക്തൃ സൗഹൃദത്തിലും പ്രവർത്തനക്ഷമതക്കും ഊന്നൽ നൽകുന്ന മഞ്ചാരോ, പൂർണ്ണമായും ഉപയോഗക്ഷമായ സിസ്റ്റം ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടി വിവിധ സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയറുകൾ അടക്കമാണ് വരുന്നത്. ഒരു റോളിംഗ് റിലീസ് അപ്‌ഡേറ്റ് മോഡൽ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഓപ്പറേറ്റിംഗ് സിസ്റ്റം പാക്കേജ് മാനേജരായി പാക്മാൻ ആണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്.[6]

മഞ്ചാരോ എക്സ്എഫ്‌സിഇ - എക്സ്എഫ്എസ് ഡെസ്ക്ടോപ്പും മഞ്ചാരോയുടെ സ്വന്തം ഇരുണ്ട തീമും ഇതിൽ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നു.

മഞ്ചാരോ കെ‌ഡി‌ഇ - മഞ്ചാരോയുടെ സ്വന്തം ഇരുണ്ട പ്ലാസ്മ തീമും ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ കെ‌ഡി‌ഇ പ്ലാസ്മ, ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനുകൾ, ഫ്രെയിംവർക്കുകൾ എന്നിവയും മഞ്ചാരോ കെ‌ഡി‌ഇയിൽ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നു.

മഞ്ജാരോ ഗ്നോം - മഞ്ചാരോ തീമിന്റെ പതിപ്പിനൊപ്പം ഗ്നോം ഡെസ്ക്ടോപ്പും വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.[7]

ഔദ്യോഗിക പതിപ്പുകൾ അല്ലെങ്കിലും, മഞ്ചാരോ കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി പതിപ്പുകൾ മഞ്ചാരോ ടീമിലെ അംഗങ്ങൾ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു. ബഡ്ജി, സിന്നമോൺ , ഡീപിൻ, ഐ 3, എൽഎക്സ്ഡിഇ, മേറ്റ് എന്നിവയുൾപ്പെടെ അധിക ഉപയോക്തൃ ഇന്റർഫേസുകൾ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.[8]

സവിശേഷതകൾ[തിരുത്തുക]

കമാൻഡ് ലൈൻ ഇന്റർഫേസും, ഒരു ഗ്രാഫിക്കൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റോളറും അടക്കമാണ് മഞ്ചാരോ വരുന്നത്. റോളിംഗ് റിലീസ് മോഡൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഒഎസിൽ ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ പതിപ്പിലേക്ക് മാറുന്നതിന് ഉപയോക്താവിന് മുഴുവൻ സിസ്റ്റവും അപ്‌ഗ്രേഡുചെയ്യാനോ വീണ്ടും ഇൻസ്റ്റാൾ ചെയ്യാനോ ആവശ്യമില്ല. പാക്കേജ് മാനേജ്മെന്റ് കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നത് പാക്മാൻ ആണ് (കമാൻഡ് ലൈൻ). ഇതിന്റെ ഗ്രാഫിക് യൂസർ ഇന്റർഫേസിനെ പാമാക് എന്നും (ഗ്നോം ആൻഡ് എക്സ്എഫ്സിഇ പതിപ്പുകൾ), കെഡിഇ പതിപ്പിൽ ഒക്ടോപി എന്നും വിളിക്കുന്നു.

ഗിറ്റ് പോലെ രൂപകൽപ്പന ചെയ്‌തിരിക്കുന്ന ബോക്‌സ്‌ഇറ്റ് എന്ന സ്വന്തംസംവിധാനം ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് സംഭരണികൾ (റെപ്പോസിറ്ററി) നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നത്.[9]

ഒരു പതിപ്പ് നമ്പർ ഉപയോഗിച്ച മഞ്ചാരോയുടെ അവസാന പതിപ്പുകളാണ് 0.8.x സീരീസ് പതിപ്പുകൾ. ഓഫർ ചെയ്ത ഡെസ്ക്ടോപ്പ് പരിതസ്ഥിതികളും ഓരോ പ്രത്യേക പതിപ്പിലും ബണ്ടിൽ ചെയ്ത പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളുടെ എണ്ണവും വ്യത്യസ്ത പതിപ്പുകളിൽ വ്യത്യാസപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
