വെസ്റ്റേൺ ആസ്ട്രേലിയ, സൗത്ത് ഓസ്ട്രേലിയ, തസ്മാനിയ, വിക്ടോറിയ, ന്യൂ സൗത്ത് വെയിൽസ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഈ സസ്യം വ്യാപകമാണ്. എന്നിരുന്നാലും, നോർതേൺ ടെറിട്ടറി ഒഴികെയുള്ള എല്ലാ ഓസ്ട്രേലിയൻ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും ഈ സസ്യം കാണപ്പെടുന്നതായി ജീൻസ് (1996) സമർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു[6][7].
