2018 മാർച്ച് ഫോർ ഔർ ലൈവ്സ് ഇവന്റുകൾ മാർച്ച് 24-ന് അവസാനിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം, കാറ്റിയും അവളുടെ ഹൈസ്‌കൂളിലെ മറ്റ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും തോക്ക് നിയമനിർമ്മാണം തടയുന്നതിലും കുഴിച്ചിടുന്നതിലും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പങ്ക് വിളിച്ചറിയിക്കുന്നതിനായി മുൻ യുഎസ് സ്പീക്കർ പോൾ റയാന്റെ ജന്മനാടായ WI, WI, മാഡിസണിൽ നിന്ന് ജാൻസ്‌വില്ലെ, WI വരെ 50 മൈൽ മാർച്ച് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.[17][18]തോക്ക് അക്രമം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാൻ നടപടിയെടുക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നതിനായി മറ്റ് 49 സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെ വെല്ലുവിളിക്കാൻ 50 മൈൽ മാർച്ചുകൾ അവരുടെ എൻആർഎ പിന്തുണയുള്ള തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരിൽ ഒരാളുടെ ജന്മനാടിലേക്കോ ഓഫീസിലേക്കോ നടത്താൻ #50 സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ #50more എന്ന പേരിൽ ഒരു രാജ്യവ്യാപക കാമ്പെയ്‌ൻ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിലേക്ക് ഈ 50 മൈൽസ് മോർ മാർച്ച് കാറ്റിയെയും സംഘത്തെയും നയിക്കുന്നു.[19][20] 2018 ഓഗസ്റ്റിൽ മസാച്യുസെറ്റ്‌സിൽ 50 മൈൽ മോർ 50 മൈൽ നടന്നു. 2018ലെ ഇടക്കാല തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ വോട്ടുചെയ്യാൻ അവരെ വോട്ടുചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി പുതുതായി ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ മാർച്ചർമാരെ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ട് രാജ്യവ്യാപകമായി യുവാക്കളുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ വോട്ടർ ഇടപഴകൽ സംരംഭവും 50 മൈൽസ് മോർ നവീകരിച്ചു.[21][22]

ഭാവിയെ മികച്ചതും സുരക്ഷിതവും അതിലേറെയും ആക്കുകയെന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ യുവജനങ്ങൾക്കും യുവജനങ്ങൾ നയിക്കുന്ന സംഘടനകൾക്കുമായി ഒരു ദേശീയ ശൃംഖലയും കൂട്ടായ്മയും ഫ്യൂച്ചർ കോയലിഷൻ രൂപീകരിക്കുന്നതിന് രാജ്യത്തുടനീളമുള്ള യുവജനങ്ങൾ നയിക്കുന്ന മറ്റ് സംഘടനകളുമായി സഖ്യമുണ്ടാക്കാൻ കേറ്റി 50 മൈൽ മോർ നയിച്ചു.[23][24] യുണൈറ്റഡ് സ്‌റ്റേറ്റ്‌സിലുടനീളമുള്ള യുവാക്കളുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള സംഘടനകളെയും യുവനേതാക്കളെയും വിഭവങ്ങളും ആശയങ്ങളും പങ്കിടുന്നതിന് ഫ്യൂച്ചർ കോളിഷൻ ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.[25][26]വോക്കൗട്ട് ടു വോട്ട് എന്ന തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കാമ്പെയ്‌നിലൂടെ 2018 സെപ്റ്റംബറിൽ ഫ്യൂച്ചർ കോളിഷൻ ആരംഭിച്ചു. രാജ്യത്തുടനീളമുള്ള 500-ലധികം സ്‌കൂളുകൾ ക്ലാസ് വിട്ട് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിലേക്ക് മാർച്ച് നടത്തി.[27][28]
