സെബ്യൂയിൻ കന്നുകാലികളുടെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇനമാണ് കാങ്ക്രെജ്. (ഹിന്ദി: कंकरेज) ഗുജറാത്ത് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ റാൻ ഓഫ് കച്ചിന്റെ വരണ്ട പ്രദേശത്തുനിന്നും അയൽരാജ്യമായ രാജസ്ഥാനിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് ഇത് ഉത്ഭവിക്കുന്നത്. കങ്കരാജ് എന്ന പേരിൽ പാകിസ്ഥാനിലെ സിന്ധിലെ താർപാർക്കർ ജില്ലയിലും ഇത് നിലവിലുണ്ട്. ബന്നായ്, നഗർ, തലാബ്ഡ, വാഗിയാർ, വാഗാഡ്, വേജഡ്, വാഡിയാർ, വാദിയാർ, വാദിർ, വാഡിയൽ എന്നീ പേരുകളിലും ഇത് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു[4]. ഇവയെ പാൽ ഉൽപാദനത്തിനും കാളകളുടേതായ ജോലിക്കുമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.
1870 മുതൽ കാൻ‌ക്രെജ് കാളകളെയും പശുക്കളെയും ബ്രസീലിലേക്ക് കയറ്റുമതി ചെയ്തു. അവിടെ ഗുസേർ എന്ന ഇനത്തെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു. [2] പിന്നീട് അമേരിക്കൻ ഇനമായ ബ്രഹ്മൻ വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുത്തത് ഇതിൽ നിന്നായിരുന്നു. [2]
ഇന്ത്യയിലെ കാൻ‌ക്രേജ് ഇനത്തിന്റെ അവസാനത്തെ ഔദ്യോഗിക സെൻസസ് ഡാറ്റ 1977 മുതൽ 465000 . [2][3] പാക്കിസ്ഥാനിൽ 2006 ൽ 273000 എന്നു രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി. [2][5]
