കോഡിന്റെ നിലവിലെ പതിപ്പ് 2017 ജൂലൈയിൽ ചൈനയിലെ ഷെൻഷെനിൽ നടന്ന ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ ബൊട്ടാണിക്കൽ കോൺഗ്രസ് സ്വീകരിച്ച ഷെൻഷെൻ കോഡാണ്. മുമ്പത്തെ കോഡുകളെപ്പോലെ, കോൺഗ്രസ് അംഗീകരിച്ചയുടനെ ഇത് പ്രാബല്യത്തിൽ വന്നു(2017 ജൂലൈ 29 ന്).എന്നാൽ അന്തിമരൂപത്തിൽ കോഡിന്റെ ഡോക്യുമെന്റേഷൻ 2018 ജൂൺ 26 വരെ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
