ജോർജ് ടാൽബോട്ട്
ജോർജ് ടാൽബോട്ട് (1882–1952) ചിത്രശലഭങ്ങളിൽ വൈദക്ത്യമുള്ള ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പ്രാണിപഠനശാസ്ത്രജനായിരുന്നു.
ടാൽബോട്ട് ആദ്യം Herbert Adams-ന്റെ കൂടെയും തുടർന്ന് William Frederick Henry Rosenberg-ന്റെ കൂടെയും ജോലിചെയ്തു. അതിനുശേഷം Joicey-യുടെ ശേഖരത്തിന്റെ പരിപാലകനായി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സ്വകാര്യ മ്യൂസിയത്തിൽ ജോലിനോക്കി. ഒന്നാം ലോകമഹായുദ്ധ കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം Authur Bacot-ന്റെ കൂടെ Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine-ഇൽ Trench fever, Typhus എന്നീ പേനുകൾ പരത്തുന്ന അസുഖങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു പഠിച്ചു. ജോയ്സിയുടെ മരണശേഷം 1932-ൽ അദ്ദേഹം ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പിന്റെ British Pest Infestation Division-ൽ ജോലിനോക്കി.
അദ്ദേഹം Bulletin of the Hill Museum-ൽ 150-ൽ അധികം ലേഖനങ്ങളെഴുതി. The Fauna of British India, Including Ceylon and Burma-ന്റെ Charles Thomas Bingham എഴുതിയ ചിത്രശലഭ ഭാഗങ്ങളുടെ പുതുക്കിയ പതിപ്പുകളും അദ്ദേഹമാണ് എഴുതിയത്. .Delias ശലഭങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചെഴുതിയ പ്രബന്ധവും Wilhelm Junk പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച Lepidopterum Catalogus-ന്റെ പീത-ശ്വേത ചിത്രശലഭങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള മൂന്നു ഭാഗങ്ങളുമാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രശസ്തമായ മറ്റു കൃതികൾ. .
