ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]

ജോർജ്ജ് മക്ഡൊണാൾഡ് 1824 ഡിസംബർ 10 ന് സ്കോട്ട്ലൻഡിലെ അബർഡീൻഷെയറിലെ ഹണ്ട്ലിയിൽ ജനിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പിതാവ്, ഒരു കർഷകൻ, ഗ്ലെൻ കോയുടെ ക്ലാൻ മക്ഡൊണാൾഡിന്റെ വംശപരമ്പരയിൽ നിന്നാണ്, 1692-ലെ കൂട്ടക്കൊലയിൽ ദുരിതമനുഭവിച്ച കുടുംബങ്ങളിലൊന്നിന്റെ നേരിട്ടുള്ള പിൻഗാമിയാണ്.[4][5]
