ഓസ്ട്രേലിയയിലെ നോർത്തേൺ ടെറിട്ടറിയിലെ ഒരു പട്ടണമാണ് ഫ്ലെമിങ്. ടെറിട്ടറിയുടെ തലസ്ഥാനമായ ഡാർവിനു 162 കിലോമീറ്റർ (101 മൈൽ) തെക്കായി ഈ പട്ടണം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു.
നോർത്തേൺ ടെറിട്ടറിയുടെ ഈ ഭാഗത്തെ ആദ്യത്തെ കാലിവളർത്തുകാരായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സഹോദരന്മാരായ ജിം, മൈക്ക് ഫ്ലെമിംഗ് എന്നിവരുടെ പേരിലാണ് ഈ പ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ പേര്. 1907-ൽ ജിം ഫ്ലെമിംഗ് സ്ഥാപിച്ച പഴയ ഒല്ലൂ സ്റ്റേഷൻ പാസ്റ്ററൽ പാട്ടത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ് പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ ഒരു ഭാഗം സ്ഥാപിതമായത്. 1996 മാർച്ച് 20-ന് പട്ടണം ഗസറ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയും 2007 ഏപ്രിൽ 4-ന് പ്രദേശം ഗസറ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു.[8][1][3] 2016-ലെ ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയൻ സെൻസസിനായി 2016 ഓഗസ്റ്റിൽ നടത്തിയ ഫ്ലെമിംഗിലെ പ്രദേശത്തെ ജനസംഖ്യ കണക്കാക്കിയത് ഡഗ്ലസ്-ഡാലി ഉൾപ്പെടെ രണ്ട് പ്രദേശങ്ങളുടെയും ആയിരുന്നു. 238 പേർ താമസിക്കുന്നതായി കണ്ടെത്തി.[2][ii]
ലിംഗിരിയുടെ ഫെഡറൽ ഡിവിഷനിലും ഡാലിയുടെ പ്രദേശത്തെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഡിവിഷനിലും വിക്ടോറിയ ഡാലി ഷെയറിന്റെ പ്രാദേശിക സർക്കാർ പ്രദേശത്തും ഫ്ലെമിംഗ് ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.[6][5][9]
