അസമിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ ഗായികയായിരുന്നു ദിപാലി ബർതാക്കൂർ (30 ജനുവരി 1941 - 21 ഡിസംബർ 2018) . അവരുടെ പാട്ടുകൾ പ്രധാനമായും ആസാമീസ് ഭാഷയിലാണ് പാടിയിരുന്നത്.[1] 1998-ൽ അവർക്ക് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ നാലാമത്തെ ഉയർന്ന സിവിലിയൻ ബഹുമതിയായ പത്മശ്രീ ലഭിച്ചു.[2]

ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതം

അസമിലെ ശിവസാഗറിലെ സോനാരിയിൽ ബിശ്വനാഥ് ബോർത്തക്കൂറിന്റെയും ചന്ദ്രകാന്തി ദേവിയുടെയും[3] മകളായി 1941-ലാണ് ബർതാക്കൂർ ജനിച്ചത്.[4][5]

സംഗീത ജീവിതം

ഒരു ഗായികയായാണ് ബോർത്തകൂർ തന്റെ കരിയർ ആരംഭിച്ചത്. അവർ ഒൻപതാം ക്ലാസ്സിൽ പഠിക്കുമ്പോൾ, 1958-ൽ, ഗുവാഹത്തിയിലെ ഓൾ ഇന്ത്യ റേഡിയോയിൽ "മോർ ബൊപൈ ലഹോരി" എന്ന ഗാനവും[4] ലച്ചിത് ബൊർഫുകൻ (1959) എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി "ജൂബോൺ അമോണിയി കൊരെ ചെനൈദോൻ" എന്ന ഗാനവും ആലപിച്ചു. [6] അവരുടെ മറ്റ് ചില ജനപ്രിയ ആസാമീസ് ഗാനങ്ങൾ ഇവയാണ്:[3]

സ്വകാര്യ ജീവിതം

ബർതാക്കൂർ 1969-ൽ "ലുയിറ്റോ നെജാബി ബോയ്" എന്ന തന്റെ അവസാന ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചു.[4]അതിനുശേഷം അവർക്ക് കഠിനമായ മോട്ടോർ ന്യൂറോൺ രോഗം ബാധിച്ചുതുടങ്ങി. അത് അവരുടെ പാട്ടിന് തടസ്സമാകുകയും വീൽചെയർ ഉപയോഗിക്കാൻ നിർബന്ധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. 1976-ൽ ആസാമിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പ്രശസ്ത ഇന്ത്യൻ കലാകാരനും പ്രശസ്ത അസമീസ് എഴുത്തുകാരൻ ബിനന്ദ ചന്ദ്ര ബറുവയുടെ മകനും ചിത്രകാരനുമായ നീൽ പവൻ ബറുവയെ അവർ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. ദീർഘനാളത്തെ അസുഖത്തെത്തുടർന്ന് 2018 ഡിസംബർ 21-ന് ഗുവാഹത്തിയിലെ നെംകെയർ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ വെച്ച് ബർത്തക്കൂർ മരിച്ചു.[8] "ആസാമിന്റെ നൈറ്റിംഗേൽ" എന്നാണ് അവർ അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്.[9]

1990-92 കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ നാടോടി സംഗീതത്തിനും പരമ്പരാഗത സംഗീതത്തിനുമുള്ള പത്മശ്രീ പുരസ്‌കാരം നൽകി ബർത്തക്കൂറിനെ നിരവധി തവണ ആദരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

അവരുടെ ചില അവാർഡുകൾ/അംഗീകാരങ്ങൾ ചുവടെ പട്ടികപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു:

  • ഇന്ത്യാ ഗവൺമെന്റ് കലാരംഗത്ത് നൽകിയ സംഭാവനകൾക്ക് പത്മശ്രീ (1998) ലഭിച്ചു.[10][11]
  • സിലിപി ബോട്ട (2010) അസം സർക്കാരിൽ നിന്നുള്ളത്.[12]
  • സദൗ അസോം ലേഖിക സോമരോ സമിതിയുടെ ഐദേയു ഹാൻഡിക് സിൽപി അവാർഡ് (2012).
