വംശനാശ ഭീഷണി നേരിടുന്ന ജീവികളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ദാമ ഗസൽ. ഗസെല്ലാ ദാമ എന്നാണ് ശാസ്ത്രനാമം. വടക്കേ ആഫ്രിക്കയിൽ അങ്ങിങ്ങായി നൂറോളം എണ്ണമേ ബാക്കിയുള്ളു.
