മധ്യപ്രദേശ്, മേഘാലയ, മിസോറം, മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര, എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഇവയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജനുവരി-മേയ്, നവംബർ-ഡിസംബർ മാസങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇവയെ കാണാറുള്ളത്.[7]
ഉങ്ങ് ചെടിയാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ലാർവാ ഭക്ഷ്യ സസ്യം.[7]
