റോസാക്കുരുവി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ റോസ്ക്കുരുവിയ്ക്ക്[2] [3][4][5] ആംഗലത്തിൽ common rosefinch എന്നാണു പേര്. ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമം Carpodacus erythrinusഎന്നുമാണ്. ഏഷ്യയിലും യൂറോപ്പിലും സാധാരണയായി എല്ലായിടത്തും കാണുന്ന പക്ഷിയാണ്.
രൂപവിവരണം[തിരുത്തുക]
ഈ പക്ഷിയുടെ നീളം 13-15 സെ.മീ. ആണ്. [6] ബമുള്ള ഈ പക്ഷിയ്ക്ക് കുമ്പിൽ പോലുള്ള കൊക്കുകളുണ്ട്. It has a stout and conical bill. പൂവന് റോസ് കകലർന്ന ചുവപ്പു നിറമുള്ള തല, നെഞ്ചും മുതുകും ഉണ്ട്. കടുത്ത തവിട്ടു നിറമുള്ള ചിറകിൽ രണ്ടൂ വെള്ള വരകളുണ്ട്, വെള്ള വയറും പിടകൾക്കും വളർച്ച എത്താത്ത ആണിനും മുകളിൽ മഞ്ഞ കലർന്ന തവിട്ടു നിറമുള്ള മുകൾ വശം. മങ്ങിയ അടിവശംചാര നിറമുള്ള തല .
പ്രജനനം[തിരുത്തുക]
കുറ്റിക്കാടുകളിൽ കൂടുകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. കടുത്ത നീല നിറത്തിലുള്ള മുട്ടകളിൽതവിട്ടു നിറത്തിലുള്ള പുള്ളികൾ 5 മുട്ടകളാണ് ഇടുന്നത്. .
