പനാമയിൽ ഒരു ചരിത്രപ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള ജില്ലയാണ് കാസ്കോ വിയെജോ അഥവാ കാസ്കോ ആന്റിഗ്വോ അഥവാ സാൻ ഫെലിപ്പെ. 1673 ൽ ഇതിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണം പൂർത്തിയായി. 1671 പനാമ നഗരം പൂർണ്ണമായി നശിച്ചുപോയതിനുശേഷമാണ് ഇതിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണം നടന്നത്. പിന്നീട് പിറേറ്റുകൾ ഈ നഗരം ആക്രമിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. 1997ൽ ഇത് യുനെസ്കോ ലോകപൈതൃസ്ഥാനമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.[1]
