അതീവ ഗുരുതരമായ വംശനാശ ഭീഷണി നേരിടുന്ന പക്ഷിയാണ് അരാറൈപ് മാനകിൻ (Araripe manakin) (ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Antilophia bokermanni) ആന്റിലോഫിയ ബോക്കർമന്നി എന്ന ശാസ്ത്ര നാമത്തിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഇവ ഇന്ന് ഏകദേശം 800 ൽ താഴെ മാത്രമേ ഭൂമിയിൽ ഉള്ളൂ. ബ്രസീലിലെ അരാറൈപ് എന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് മാത്രമാണ് ഇവയെ കാണുവാൻ കഴിയുക.
1998 ലാണ് ഇവയെ ആദ്യമായി കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത്. 22 സെ.മീ നീളമുള്ള ഇവയ്ക്ക് ഏകദേശം 20 ഗ്രാം ഭാരം ഉണ്ട്. ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നെ നാശോന്മുഖം ആയ ആവാസ സ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇവ ജീവിക്കുന്നത്. അതിനാൽ തന്നെ സമീപ ഭാവിയിൽ ഇവ ഭൂമുഖത്ത് അപ്രത്യക്ഷമായേക്കാം.
