ഇന്ത്യയിലെ അഹമ്മദാബാദിലെ പ്രധാന റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനാണ് അഹമ്മദാബാദ് ജംഗ്ഷൻ തീവണ്ടി നിലയം. ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലുതും, തിരക്കേറിയതുമായ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനാണ് ഇത്. മുംബൈ ഡിവിഷനുശേഷം പശ്ചിമ റെയിൽവേയിൽ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ വരുമാനമുള്ള ഡിവിഷനാണ് ഇത്.

ഇത് ഗോകുൽദാസ് കോൺട്രാക്ടറും അസോസിയേറ്റ്സും ചേർന്നാണ് നിർമ്മിച്ചത്.[2][3][4]
അഹമ്മദാബാദിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയരം കൂടിയ രണ്ട് മിനാരങ്ങളാണ് സ്റ്റേഷന്റെ വടക്കുവശത്ത് കാണുന്ന സിദി ബഷീർ മസ്ജിദിന്റെ ഒരേ ഒരു ശേഷിപ്പ്.

ഗുജറാത്തിലെ അഹമ്മദാബാദ് നഗരത്തിലെ റെയിൽ ഗതാഗതത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന സ്റ്റേഷനാണ് അഹമ്മദാബാദ് ജംക്ഷൻ. ഇന്ത്യൻ റെയിൽവേയുടെ പാശ്ചാത്യ റെയിൽവേ മേഖലയുടെ ഒരു പ്രധാന കേന്ദ്രവും കൂടി ആണിത്. പ്രാദേശികമായി കളുപുർ സ്റ്റേഷൻ എന്നാണ് ആളുകൾ അതിനെ പരാമർശിക്കുന്നു എന്നാണ് ആളുകൾ ഇതിനെ പരാമർശിക്കുന്നുനാണ് ( ചുറ്റുവട്ടത്തുള്ള ചുറ്റുമുള്ള കളുപുരിലാണ് ഈ സ്ഥലം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത് ). ഇത് ഗാന്ധിഗ്രാം, അശാർവ, സർക്ഹജ്, വസ്താപൂർ, ചാന്ദ്ലോഡിയ, വാട്വ, മണിനഗർ, സബർമതി ജംഗ്ഷൻ തുടങ്ങിയ നഗരത്തിലെ മറ്റ് സ്റ്റേഷനുകളിൽ നിന്നും വേർതിരിച്ചറിയാൻ വേണ്ടിയാണ്. അഹമ്മദാബാദിനെ ഗുജറാത്തിലെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിലേക്കും, മുംബൈ, ഡൽഹി, ബാംഗ്ലൂർ, കൊൽക്കത്ത, ചെന്നൈ, ഹൈദരാബാദ്, വിശാഖപട്ടണം, തിരുവനന്തപുരം, അജ്മീർ, ധൻബാദ്, ദൽതോങ്ഗഞ്ച്, ജയ്‌പൂർ, ഇൻഡോർ, ഹൗറ തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രധാന നഗരങ്ങളിലേക്കും ഇവിടെനിന്ന് ട്രെയിനുകളുണ്ട്.

സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ[തിരുത്തുക]
നിലവിൽ ഗൂഗിൾ സ്റ്റേഷൻ റെയിൽ‌ടെൽ വൈഫൈ സൗകര്യം ഇവിടെ ലഭ്യമാണ്.[5] പ്രധാന ബാങ്കുകളുടെ എ.ടി.എം ഇവിടെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
2010 മെയ് മാസത്തിൽ മുതിർന്ന പൗരന്മാർക്കും ശാരീരിക വെല്ലുവിളി നേരിടുന്നവർക്കും ഒരു ഗോൾഫ് കാർ സേവനം ഇവിടെ ആരംഭിച്ചു.[6]
