ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പൊതുതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകളെക്കുറിച്ചറിയാൻ, ദയവായി ഇന്ത്യയിലെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകൾ കാണുക.

ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പതിനഞ്ചാം ലോകസഭയുടെ കാലാവധി 2014 മെയ് 31-ന് അവസാനിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു കമ്മീഷൻ പതിനാറാം ലോകസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് 2014 ഏപ്രിൽ 7 മുതൽ മെയ് 12 വരെ നടത്താനായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മുഴുവൻ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെയും വോട്ടെടുപ്പ് ഒൻപതു ഘട്ടങ്ങളായിയാണ് പൂർത്തിയാക്കുന്നത്. വോട്ടെണ്ണലും ഫലപ്രഖ്യാപനവും മെയ് 16-ന് നടക്കും. ഇതിനോടനുബന്ധിച്ചുതന്നെ ആന്ധ്രപ്രദേശ്, സിക്കിം, ഒഡിഷ എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ സംസ്ഥാന നിയമസഭയിലേക്കുള്ള തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പും നടക്കും.^[3]

പ്രഖ്യാപനം

മുഖ്യതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷണർ വി.എസ്. സമ്പത്തും കമ്മീഷൻ അംഗങ്ങളായ എച്ച്.എസ്. ബ്രഹ്മ, ഡോ. നസീം സയ്ദി എന്നിവർ 2014 മാർച്ച് 06-നാണ് വാർത്താസമ്മേളനത്തിൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. മാർച്ച് 06 മുതൽ മാതൃകാ പെരുമാറ്റച്ചട്ടം ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിലവിൽ വന്നു. പെരുമാറ്റച്ചട്ടം ഈ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ ആകെ 72 ദിവസത്തേക്ക് ബാധകമാകും.

ആസൂത്രണം

ഒൻപതു ഘട്ടങ്ങളായി ഏപ്രിൽ 7, 9, 10, 12, 17, 24, 30 മെയ് 7, 12 എന്നീ തീയതികളിലാണ് ഇന്തയിലെ ആകെ 543 സീറ്റുകളിലേക്കുള്ള തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ്, കമ്മീഷൻ ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.
