ഹൈഡ്രജൻ ബ്രോമൈഡിന്റെ ജലീയ ലായനിയാണ് ഹൈഡ്രോബ്രോമിൿ അമ്ലം. ഇത് ഹൈഡ്രോക്ലോറിക് അമ്ലത്തേക്കാൾ ശക്തിയേറിയ ധാതു അമ്ലമാണ്. പക്ഷേ ഇതിന് ഹൈഡ്രയോഡിക് അമ്ലത്തോളം ശക്തിയില്ല.
ഹൈഡ്രോബ്രോമിൿ അമ്ലം പരീക്ഷണശാലകളിൽ ബ്രോമിനെ, സൾഫർ ഡയോക്സൈഡ്, ജലം എന്നിവയുമായോ, ഫോസ്ഫറസ്, ജലം എന്നിവയുമായോ പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിച്ചാണ് നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നത്.
