സ്യൂ റോൾഫ്
ഗ്രേറ്റ് ബ്രിട്ടനിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു മുൻ ഫ്രീസ്റ്റൈലും മെഡ്‌ലി നീന്തൽ താരവുമാണ് സൂസൻ റോൾഫ് (ജനനം: 15 മെയ് 1978). 2000-ലെ സമ്മർ ഒളിമ്പിക്സിലും പങ്കെടുത്തിരുന്നു.
നീന്തൽ ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
1990 കളിൽ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് വനിതാ നീന്തലിൽ ആധിപത്യം പുലർത്തിയ താരങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് റോൾഫ്. അവരുടെ കോമൺ‌വെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസ് മെഡലിൽ മൂന്ന് സ്വർണം, ഒരു വെള്ളി, രണ്ട് വെങ്കലം എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. കാനഡയിലെ വിക്ടോറിയയിൽ നടന്ന 1994-ലെ കോമൺ‌വെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ 4 x 100 മീറ്റർ ഫ്രീസ്റ്റൈൽ റിലേയിൽ സ്വർണം നേടിയ അവർ നാല് ഇനങ്ങളിൽ ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിനെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ചു.[1][2] നാലുവർഷത്തിനുശേഷം അഞ്ച് മത്സരങ്ങളിൽ ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിനെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ച് 1998-ൽ മലേഷ്യയിലെ ക്വാലാലംപൂരിൽ നടന്ന കോമൺ‌വെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ രണ്ട് സ്വർണ്ണ മെഡലുകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ അഞ്ചിലും മെഡൽ നേടി.[3][4][5]
50 മീറ്റർ ഫ്രീസ്റ്റൈലിൽ (1994, 1995, 1997, 1998) ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ നാല് തവണ വിജയിയും 100 മീറ്റർ ഫ്രീസ്റ്റൈലിൽ (1994, 1995, 1998, 1999) നാല് തവണ വിജയിയും 2000 ൽ 200 മീറ്റർ ഫ്രീസ്റ്റൈൽ ചാമ്പ്യനുമാണ്. 1994 ൽ 50 മീറ്റർ ബട്ടർഫ്ലൈ കിരീടവും 200 മീറ്ററിൽ (1994, 1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000) ആറ് തവണ ചാമ്പ്യനുമായിരുന്നു.[6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13] [14]
