സ്മോംബീ
നടന്നുകൊണ്ട് സ്മാർട്ട്ഫോൺ (അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മൊബൈൽ ഫോൺ) ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവരെ സ്മോംബി (Smombie) എന്നുവിളിക്കുന്നു.[1] അവർ നടത്തത്തിൽ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും, അങ്ങനെ അപകടങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള സാദ്ധ്യത വളരെയധികം വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
"സ്മാർട്ട്ഫോൺ","സൊംബി" എന്നീ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പദങ്ങൾ സംയോജിച്ചാണ് ഈ പദം ഉണ്ടായത്.[1] ജർമനിയിൽ ഈ വാക്ക് ജനപ്രീതിയാർജ്ജിക്കുകയും,[2][3] പിന്നീട് ട്വിറ്ററിൽ ഹാഷ്ടാഗായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[4] ഈ പ്രതിഭാസം ചൈനയിലെ ചോങ്ചിങിലെ നഗരമദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ നടന്നുകൊണ്ട് മൊബൈൽഫോൺ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് മാത്രമായി ഒരു 'മൊബൈൽ ഇടനാഴി" നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതിലേക്കുവരെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നെത്തിച്ചു.[5][6]
