മാർജ്ജാര വംശത്തിൽ ഇന്ന് ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവയിൽ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഇനത്തിൽ പെട്ട ഒന്നാണ് സൈബീരിയൻ കടുവ. കടുവകളിലെ ഒരു ഉപവർഗ്ഗം ആണ് അഥവാ അമുർ ടൈഗർ . ഇവയെ റഷ്യയിൽ ആണ് കണ്ടുവരുന്നത്‌ . 2015 ലെ കണക്ക് പ്രകാരം 480-540 എണ്ണം മാത്രമേ റഷ്യയിൽ ഉള്ളൂ ഇതിൽ തന്നെ 100 എണ്ണം കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ ആണ് . ^[1].
