ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കയിലെ തദ്ദേശീയരായ കറുത്തവർഗ്ഗക്കാരിൽ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം വരുന്ന ജനവിഭാഗമാണ് സുലു ജനത. ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കയിലെ ക്വാസുളു-നറ്റാൽ പ്രവിശ്യയിലാണ് ഈ ജന വിഭാഗം മുഖ്യമായും കാണപ്പെടുന്നത്. സിംബാബ്വെ, സാംബിയ, ടാൻസാനിയ, മൊസാംബിക്ക് എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും ചുരുക്കം ചില സുലു വിഭാഗങ്ങളെ കണ്ടുവരുന്നുണ്ട്.
