തീര കടൽവാസിയായ ഒരു മൽസ്യമാണ് സീബ്ര സ്രാവ് അഥവാ Zebra Shark (Leopard Shark). (ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Stegostoma fasciatum). ഐ യു സി എൻ പട്ടികപ്രകാരമുള്ള പരിപാലന സ്ഥിതി വംശനാശ സാദ്ധ്യതയുള്ള ജീവികൾ എന്നാണ്.
ശരീര ഘടന
[തിരുത്തുക]2.5 മീറ്റർ വരെ നീളം വെക്കുന്ന സ്രാവാണ് ഇവ. പ്രായപൂർത്തി ആവുന്നതിനു മുൻപ്പ് കടും തവിട്ടു നിറത്തിൽ ഉള്ള മേൽ ഭാഗവും ഇളം മഞ്ഞ നിറത്തിൽ കിഴ്ഭാഗവും കാണുന്നു, ശരീരത്തിൽ മഞ്ഞ നിറത്തിൽ ഉള്ള പുള്ളികളും വരകളും കാണാം . പ്രായപൂർത്തി ആയി ഉദ്ദേശം അമ്പതു മുതൽ തൊണ്ണൂറു സെന്റീ മീറ്റർ നീളം വെക്കുമെന്ന നേരം ഇളം നിറം കൂടുതൽ ഇരുണ്ടു തുടങ്ങും .[2]
ആവാസ വ്യവസ്ഥ
[തിരുത്തുക]പവിഴ പുറ്റുകളും കടലിലെ മണൽ തിട്ടകളും ആണ് ഇവയുടെ ഇഷ്ട വാസ സ്ഥലം . ഇൻഡോ പസിഫിക് സമുദ്രത്തിലെ പവിഴ പുറ്റുകളിൽ ആണ് ഇവയെ സാധാരണ കാണുന്നത്.
കുടുംബം
[തിരുത്തുക]ഇവ കാർപെറ്റ് സ്രാവുകളുടെ കുടുംബത്തിൽ ഉള്ളവയാണ് . മുട്ടയിടുന്ന ഇനത്തിൽ പെട്ട സ്രാവാണ് ഇവ.
