ലുധിയാനയിലെ ഗുരു നാനാക് ദേവ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജിൽ പഠിച്ച മൂസ് വാല 2016-ൽ ഇലക്ട്രിക്കൽ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി..[25][26] റാപ്പർ ടുപാക് ഷക്കൂറിന്റെ ആരാധനയും സ്വാധീനവും അദ്ദേഹത്തിനുണ്ട്.[27][28] ആറാം ക്ലാസിൽ പഠിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഹിപ്-ഹോപ്പ് സംഗീതം കേൾക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയ അദ്ദേഹം ലുധിയാനയിൽ വെച്ച് ഹർവിന്ദർ ബിട്ടുവിൽ നിന്ന് സംഗീതത്തിൽ പരിശീലനം നേടി..[29][30] പ്രചാരണത്തിനിടെ അദ്ദേഹം നടത്തിയ പ്രസ്താവനകൾ അനുസരിച്ച്, മൂസയുടെ ഗ്രാമത്തോടുള്ള ആദരസൂചകമായി അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ സ്റ്റേജ് നാമത്തിനായി സിദ്ധു മൂസ് വാല (പഞ്ചാബി: ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇ ਵਾਲਾ) തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.[31]
