സട്ടർ ബട്ടെസ് (Maidu: Histum Yani or Esto Yamani, Wintun: Olonai-Tol) ചെറിയ ഗോളാകൃതിയിലുള്ള സങ്കീർണ്ണമായ ദ്രവിച്ച അഗ്നിപർവ്വത ലാവ കൂമ്പാരമാണ്. അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ കാലിഫോർണിയ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് സറ്റെർ കൗണ്ടിയിലെ സാക്രമെൻറോ താഴ്വരയിലെ പരന്നു നിരപ്പായ പ്രദേശത്ത് ഉയർന്നുവരുന്ന ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട ചെറുകുന്നുകളുടെ രൂപത്തിലാണ് (ബട്ടെസ്) ഇത് കാണപ്പെടുന്നത്. കാലിഫോർണിയ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ മധ്യതാഴ്വരയുടെ വടക്കുഭാഗത്തുള്ള യുബനഗരത്തിനു പുറത്താണിത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.

ലോകത്തിലെ ചെറിയ മലയടുക്കുകളായി ഇതിനെ സൂചിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. സൗത്ത് ബട്ടെയുടെ ഉച്ചിയിൽ (2122+ അടി) സട്ടർ ബട്ടെസ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഈ ഉച്ചിസ്ഥാനത്താണ് സറ്റെർ കൗണ്ടി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. മലയടിവാരത്തിൽ ചെറിയ പട്ടണമായ സറ്റെർ നഗരം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. പട്ടണത്തിനും ബട്ടെസിനും നാമകരണം ചെയ്തത് ജോൺ സട്ടർ ആണ്. അദ്ദേഹം മെക്സിക്കൻ ഗവൺമെന്റിൽ നിന്നും ഈ പ്രദേശത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ഒരു വലിയ ലാൻഡ് ഗ്രാൻഡ് സ്വീകരിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.
