സംവാദം:മഴക്കാട്
മഴകാടുകളും (Tropical Rain Forest) നിത്യഹരിത വനങ്ങളും(Evergreen Forests(tropical or not)) രണ്ടല്ലേ?

- ഞാൻ പങ്കെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ക്ലാസ്സുകളിൽ മിക്കതിലും മഴക്കാടുകൾ നിത്യഹരിത വനങ്ങൾക്ക് പര്യായം പോലായിരുന്നു ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നത് അതിനാലെഴുതിയതാണ്. മഴക്കാടുകളെല്ലാം നിത്യഹരിതവനങ്ങളാണെന്നേകദേശം ഉറപ്പാണ് എന്നാൽ തിരിച്ചങ്ങിനെ ആണോ എന്നിപ്പഴൊരു സംശയം.
- മഴക്കാടുകളെ പരാമർശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സൈറ്റുകൾ, നിത്യഹരിത വനങ്ങളെ പരാമർശിച്ചിട്ടില്ല തിരിച്ചും അങ്ങിനെ തന്നെ :( , ഇതൊക്കെ കണ്ടാൽ ആശയക്കുഴപ്പം കൂടുകയും ചെയ്യും.--പ്രവീൺ:സംവാദം 18:55, 22 ഓഗസ്റ്റ്‌ 2006 (UTC)
- Allow me to write in English!! Rain forests are those which are basically "fed" by the rain. Hence you terming as evergreen forests is only loosely Correct...the term Semievergreen is more commonly used(Even if it is used at all). Evergreen forests are "generally" connected to temperate forests. Well this is just a random talk. It has to evolve with a good classification of biomes and then probably bifurcate into other articles.
