വൈറ്റ്ടെയിൽ അഥവാ വിർജീനിയ ഡീർ എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന വൈറ്റ്-ടെയിൽഡ് ഡീർ (Odocoileus virginianus), ഒരു ഇടത്തരം വലിപ്പമുള്ള മാൻ ആണ്. അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകൾ, കാനഡ, മെക്സിക്കോ, മദ്ധ്യ അമേരിക്ക, ദക്ഷിണ അമേരിക്ക, പെറു, ബൊളീവിയ തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ തദ്ദേശവാസിയാണ് ഈ മൃഗം.[2] ന്യൂസിലാൻഡ്, ക്യൂബ, ജമൈക്ക, ഹിസ്പാനിയോള, പ്യൂർട്ടോ റിക്കോ, ബഹമാസ്, ലെസ്സർ ആന്റില്ലെസ്, യൂറോപ്പിലെ ചില രാജ്യങ്ങളായ ഫിൻലാന്റ്, ചെക്ക് റിപ്പബ്ലിക്ക്, റൊമാനിയ, സെർബിയ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലേക്കും ഇത് വ്യാപിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[3][4]അമേരിക്കയിൽ, ഏറ്റവും വ്യാപകമായി വിതരണം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട വന്യയിനമാണ് ഈ അംഗുലേറ്റ.
