വില്യം മ്യുയിർ
സ്കോട്ടിഷ് ഇസ്ലാമിക പണ്ഡിതനും ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്ഇന്ത്യയിലെ വടക്കു പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ പ്രവിശ്യകളുടെ ഭരണാധികാരിയുമായിരുന്നു സർ വില്യം മ്യുയിർ[1] (27 ഏപ്രിൽ 1819 ഗ്ലാസ്ഗോ– 11 ജൂലൈ 1905).റോയൽ ഏഷ്യാറ്റിക് സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷനുമായിരുന്നു മ്യുയിർ.[2]
