2014  ഗ്ലാസ്‌കോ കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ 48 കിലോഗ്രാം ഫ്രീസ്‌റ്റൈൽ ഗുസ്തിയിൽ സ്വർണ മെഡൽ ജേതാവ് ആയ ഇന്ത്യൻ വനിതാ ഗുസ്തി താരമാണ് വിനേഷ് ഫോഗാട്. 2010ലെ കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ 55 കിലോഗ്രാം ഫ്രീസ്‌റ്റൈൽ ഗുസ്തിയിൽ സ്വർണ മെഡൽ ജേതാവ് ആയ ഗീത ഫൊഗാഗാട്ടും അതേ മത്സരത്തിൽ 51 കിലോഗ്രാം ഫ്രീസ്‌റ്റൈൽ ഗുസ്തിയിൽ വെള്ളി മെഡൽ നേടിയ ബബിത കുമാരിയും ഇവരുടെ പിതൃസഹോദരനും മുതിർന്ന ഒളിമ്പിക് കോച്ചും ഗുസ്തി താരവുമായിരുന്ന മഹാവിർ സിങ് ഫോഗാട്ടിന്റെ മക്കളാണ്‌.[3][4]

1994 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 25ന് ഹരിയാനയിലെ ബലാലിയിൽ ഗുസ്തിതാരം മഹാവീർ സിംഗ് ഫോഗട്ടിന്റെ ഇളയ സഹോദരൻ രാജ്പാലിന്റെ മകളായി ജനിച്ചു.

  • 2014ൽ ഗ്ലാസ്‌ഗോവിൽ നടന്ന കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ സ്വർണ്ണ മെഡൽ കരസ്ഥമാക്കി. വനിതകളുടെ ഫ്രീസ്റ്റൈൽ 48 കിലോഗ്രാമിലാണ് ഇവർ മത്സരിച്ചത്.[5]
  • 2014ൽ സൗത്ത് കൊറിയയിലെ ഇഞ്ചിയോണിൽ നടന്ന ഏഷ്യൻ ഗെയിംസിൽ വനിതകളുടെ 48 കിലോഗ്രാം ഫ്രീസ്റ്റൈൽ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ വെങ്കലം നേടി[6].
  • 2015ൽ ദോഹയിൽ നടന്ന ഏഷ്യൻ ചാംപ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ വെളളി മെഡൽ നേടി.[7]
  • ഇസ്തംബൂളിൽ നടന്ന ഒളിമ്പിക് യോഗ്യതാ മത്സരത്തിൽ റിയോ ഒളിമ്പിക്‌സിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ യോഗ്യത നേടി. റിയോ ഒളിമ്പിക്‌സിൽ ക്വാർട്ടർ ഫൈനലിൽ പരാജയപ്പെട്ടു.[8]
  • 2013ൽ സൗത്ത് ആഫ്രിക്കയിലെ ജോഹന്നാസ്ബർഗിൽ നടന്ന ടൂർണമെന്റിൽ വെള്ളി മെഡൽ നേടി.[9]
  • ന്യൂഡൽഹിയിൽ നടന്ന 2013 ഏഷ്യൻ ഗുസ്തി ചാംപ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ വനിതകളുടെ 51 കിലോഗ്രാം ഫ്രീസ്റ്റൈലിൽ വെങ്കലം നേടി
