ജീവിതവും കരിയറും[തിരുത്തുക]

കാലിഫോർണിയയിലെ ലോസ് ഏഞ്ചൽസിൽ പുരോഹിത മാതാപിതാക്കളുടെ മകളായി കിമാനി ജനിച്ചു. അവർക്ക് രണ്ട് മൂത്ത സഹോദരന്മാരുണ്ട്.[9] നൈജീരിയയിലെ ബെനിൻ സിറ്റിയിൽ അവർ രണ്ടു വർഷത്തോളം താമസിച്ചു. അവിടെ അവരുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ മിഷനറി ജോലി ചെയ്തു. അവർ ഒമ്പതാം വയസ്സിൽ പാടാൻ തുടങ്ങി. 16-ആം വയസ്സിൽ, അവർ മറ്റ് ചർച്ച് ക്വയർ അംഗങ്ങൾക്കൊപ്പം ഒരു ബാക്ക്-അപ്പായി അവതരിപ്പിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. മറ്റുള്ളവർക്കായി പാട്ടുകൾ എഴുതുകയും ചെയ്തു.[2][9] കെനിയയിൽ താമസിക്കാൻ മടങ്ങിയ അവർ കോളേജിൽ പോയി മേഴ്‌സി മൈറയ്‌ക്കായി ഗണ്യമായ യാത്രകൾ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട ബാക്ക്-അപ്പുകൾ നടത്തി. സംഗീതത്തിൽ മുഴുവനായി ഒരു കരിയർ പിന്തുടരാൻ അവർ പിന്നീട് സ്കൂൾ വിടാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.[10]

2017 ഡിസംബറിൽ ഗായകൻ സഫാരി എന്ന ആൽബം പുറത്തിറക്കി. അത് ആഫ്രിക്കയിലുടനീളമുള്ള താരങ്ങളുമായി സഹകരിച്ചു: സർകോഡി, ഖുലി ചാന, ജെസ്സി ജാഗ്സ്, ഫൈനോ, ഐസ് പ്രിൻസ്.
