മധ്യ ട്രിയസ്സിക് കാലത്തു ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന ഒരു ഉരഗമാണ് റ്റാനിസ്ട്രോഫിയസ്.[1]ഏകദേശം ഇരുപത്തടി നീളം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഇവയ്ക്കു വളരെ വലിയ കഴുത്തായിരുന്നു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് , ശരീര നീളത്തിന്റെ പകുതിക്ക് അടുത്ത് വരുമായിരുന്നു കഴുത്തിന്റെ നീളം (9.8 അടി).
