സർപ്പധരൻ നക്ഷത്രരാശിയിലെ ρ ഓഫിയൂക്കി നക്ഷത്രത്തിന്റെ 1°തെക്കു ഭാഗത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു നീഹാരികയാണ് റോ ഓഫിയൂക്കി നെബുല. സൗരയൂഥത്തിന്റെ അടുത്തുള്ള നക്ഷത്രരൂപീകരണപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണിത്.[1] ഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്ന് 131 ± 3 പാർസെക് അകലെയാണിതിന്റെ സ്ഥാനം.[2][3]
